During lockdown I just took out the paint & brushes to brush up my old hobby. using mixed media just painted a landscape portraying Switzerland’s star village “Gstaad” which is famous for winter sports and celebrities vacation homes. This village has got various types of accommodations including a 5 star hotel.
One of the snow capped peak of the Glacier 3000 is seen at far. This is the one of the tourist destinations of switzerland. There is a ropeway service from ground level to the peak.

The Old City is the medieval city center of Bern, SwitzerlandIts. Its compact layout has remained essentially unchanged since its construction during the 12th to the 15th. century. Despite a major fire in 1405, after which much of the city was rebuilt in Sandstone , and substantial construction efforts in the 18th. century, Bern’s old city has retained its medieval character. Old City of Bern, Switzerland is a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site since 1983 due to the compact and generally intact medieval core and is an excellent example of incorporating the modern world into a medieval city. Numerous buildings in the Old City have been designated as Swiss Cultural Properties of National Significance, as well as the entire Old City. 
Heritage BERN’s ZYTGLOGGE : Despit many renovations it has undergone in its 800 years of existence, the Zytglogge is one of Bern’s most recognizable symbols and, with its 15th-century astronomical clock, a major tourist attraction. It itself is heritage site of national significance and part of the Old City of Bern, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

This week’s Photo Challenge Atop. In response of the same, a photograph atop Jungfrau Glacier of Switzerland is shared.
This is the standard roads (Highways) of Europe and it is noticed that there is no road is crossing the highway. All crossings are avoided by overbridges so there is no interuption of traffic on the Highway. We travelled smoothly 600 to 800 Kms per day but never felt tireness because of the smooth highways and also may be the climatic conditions.

No, it is not a manipulated picture. Its a true picture taken on 3 Jul 2011 by me at Vevey town of Switzerland. Chairs are permanently fixed on the rocks of the Lake shore which can be used by anyone. See carefully, at your left, some more chirs are occupied by some beautiful ladies, It their way of life. The lady is reading a book on the lake side and other ladies seems to be interested in chit chatting to pass their time at this beautiful atmoshphere.
