A swan in the lake Lucerne, switzerland which was shot by me when I visited the Lake. This picture of mine was a casual entry to a photo contest of twenty20 website but surprisingly secured a place in that.
The Lake is located in central Switzerland and the fourth largest in the country. Steamers and other passenger boats ply on the lake. It is a popular tourist destination, both for native Swiss and foreigners. There many swans are seen in the lake and in dark blue background the swans are favourite subject for the photographers.
Main attraction on the lake is the Chapel Bridge, a covered wooden footbridge spanning the river Reuss diagonally in the city of Lucerne. This topic will be covered in a separate post. Till then stay tuned.
