3Ds for success

07 May

Shah Faisal from Kashmir topped the Civil Service Exam of this year on first attempt and without any formal coaching for UPSC. He became the first Kashmiri ever to top the Indian Civil Service Exam. He comes from a remote village in Kupwara district of Kashmir. He  studied in a village school. Eight years ago his father was gunned down by the militants because of his refusal to shelter militants.

Shah Faisal is a MBBS doctor. His aim was different, he wanted to serve the people but from a different platform. With his hard work and determination he transformed his dream into reality. “Faisal has made every Kashmiri proud with his hard work and dedication” said his mother.

Shah Faisal will be the icon to the Kashmiri students and youths and will inspire them. He will remain as an example of the achiever of hard work and determination. He achieved this at the age of 26 years because of his determination and hard work.  A message which comes out from this should be understood that nothing can be achieved by a short cut method in life, for that you should have 3Ds in you that is dream, determination and dedication.

Congrats Dr. Shah for your remarkable success. You, being a Doctor, you left the lucrative profession and took a path to  a salaried service.  How many parents or how many doctors can do this? But you have done this and  for this once again I congratulate you for your noble decision. I think, parents too take a note of this and should inspire their children to join this prestigious service. Money may be something in life but not every thing.
