Big Bazar came to Salt Lake

28 Mar

Welcoming the customers with Aabir (Pic.  by Sony Ericsson Mobile W580i and I think, the result is amazing)

A new shopping mall (Big Bazar) opened in Salt Lake today at IB Block, near Columbia Asia Hospital on the Broadway. Salt Lake already got a prestigious mall of International standard named “City Centre”. City Centre is the first mall came up in Salt Lake with a different concept of a huge open space for car parking as well as space for “Adda” of  all ages.   Also there are two malls around Salt Lake, one of them is Big Bazar at Beleghata and other one “Mani Square”  Mall on the EM Bypass.  There is no INOX theaters or  food court  in this mall.  This is exclusive a Big Bazar outlet.

There is no escalator in this mall. However slops have been planned for easy movement with your item full trolley from one floor to another. Of course provision of lifts are there  and elderly persons can make use of them.

The way malls are coming up at every corner of the city, the shopping culture of the urban people is changing slowly and getting adapted with the malls. This mall is opened today on 28th March 2010 and at about 08PM there was a mad rush inside and because of long ques in the cash counters, finally we left the items what we picked up on this inaugural day, and came out of the mall.
